Privacy notice

What happens to the details you send with an appointment request. Updated 1 November 2026.

This is a demo. Snas is a fictional salon made by Dividendo to show what a website can do. The form on this demo sends nothing and stores nothing, and the site uses no cookies. The text below is the template a real salon would review with its adviser; it is not legal advice.

Who we are

Snas, Plunkett Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Email: hello@snas.example. Company or VAT number: [to be added by the salon].

What we collect and why

When you ask for an appointment we receive your name, a phone number or email, the treatments you'd like and the days that suit you. We use them only to reply to you and arrange the appointment. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before an appointment (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).

Who receives it

Our web host and email provider store the message for us, under contract. Nobody else receives it, and we never sell your details or use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your request for up to 12 months after your last appointment, then delete it.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies and no tracking. The letters and photographs are stored on our own website. The directions link opens Google Maps only if you choose to follow it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by email; we reply within a month. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
